Breakout Saint John is an award-winning escape room complex in Saint John, New Brunswick that offers a unique and fun form of entertainment that has been exploding around the world in recent years. Our players find clues and solve a series of puzzles in an attempt to escape or complete a room’s mission before time runs out. We are a locally operated and independent business and have been in Saint John since December 2015. Each game design is original to Breakout and is thoughtfully designed for players to be completely immersed in the room, experiencing what it would be like inside a movie, book, or video game for a short period of time. Players have up to one hour to solve the puzzles before their time runs out! Rooms are carefully crafted at specific difficulty levels, to ensure everyone does not escape, but everyone has a great time either way!

The hubby and I went camping for the long weekend and since it was a wet one, decided to look for some dry entertainment nearby. This was no easy feat as we also brought our pooch with us and I wasn't about to leave him behind. While browsing \things to do near me\ I stumbled upon a listing for Breakout St John escape rooms. I recently remembered seeing one of our local escape rooms advertising that they allow dogs so I thought it worth it to ask this establishment if they did too. They answered fairly quickly via FB messenger to let me know they they couldn't due to potential allergens etc etc HOWEVER they said they would watch him in their control room (She just had to check with her staff member). They were so great and super accommodating and I'm so glad they did. Their escape room was top notch, props and puzzles were well done. I'll definitely be back (without the dog) to do more. I LOVE LOVE LOVED that the room we did was a little more in the \horror\ genre I feel a lot of escape rooms play it safe and do generic themes, which I understand but with the slight horror theme it definitely amps up the intensity. For those of you that are wondering yes they do other themes too so don't worry lol, just read through the synopsis you'll see by the description what it's like or just ask them they're great.

We had a great time. There were a couple hiccups with two of the puzzles but it wasn't anything serious. When we needed a hint they didn't just give us the answer and kept it challenging. I liked that and the experience overall.

This was a great room! So much fun and they staff are super friendly and sweet. The room are amazing and well done. I just wish in the harder room you could have maybe an extra 30 minutes.

This place really makes me feel like a kid again! Everytime we go it’s such a fun time! The staff were great and the room was really complex. We made it out in 40min! Celebration beer and game of pool at Dooleys next door after if you want to keep the evening going.
