Called up on a Saturday and was greeted and asked to hold - they were clearly busy helping people in store. Eventually spoke to Luke who confirmed all I needed was a tiny washer for a sprocket assembly. Despite it being totally obvious there was no money to be made on a sale, he took the time to walk through the assembly with me over the phone to make sure we were talking about the exact same thing, which he then offered to me free of charge. This is the kind of service that speaks volumes to me. This time, I only needed a 25 cent part that I was given for free. Next time, maybe I need a 250 part or a new saw or whatever. That's when I'll come back confident that these guys are knowledgeable, patient, honest, and kind. These are the qualities I think we should all support in a neighbourhood business. Thank you!

The folks here are patient and there expertise helped me out. I must have called 15 times in one day and they never seemed pestered with my questions.
I would not recommend Grant's Small Motors. I left a good Honda mower with them for repair. It took much longer for them to look at it than they told me it would when I dropped it off. When they finally looked at it, it was diagnosed with major problems, which came as a complete surprise to me as it went it for a simple repair. They wanted me to just \leave it with them\ and abandon it. I said no and picked it up and paid for work that accomplished NOTHING! I had another place look at it and none of the so-called reasons to abandon it existed. I'd give them zero stars, but them minimum to post is one star!!!
Great service and very helpful. Prices are very reasonable. Its worth the drive from town, I will recommend them to all my friends. Keep up the good work guys
This is an excellent small engine repair shop! With very knowledgeable staff. On many occasions I’ve been in there looking for a part, and if they didn’t have it they were able to get it for me. It’s very rare to still have shops that “actually” are able to diagnose and repair rather then just replacing parts.
