The BEST portuguese restaurant in ALL of Montreal hands down. Each menu items is made with love that only family can offer, you taste it in the potatoes as they are slowly roasted. You taste it in the juices and spices of the chicken as it explodes with flavor. You can taste the perfect bread blending into a simple sandwich made in heaven. The ambiance is one of hard working passion and I would recommend ANYONE stop by for a quick meal as it's an opportunity to truly be met with food fit for a king.

First time eating here. They follow the pandemic rules very well and the chicken is top quality and very tasty.
First time going there and the service was really rough and borderline rude. Asked for a normal poutine with no chicken and they told me it was the same price which was kinda weird but I didn't make a big deal out of it. I asked if I could have some sort of empty container so I could share with my friend (we were going to eat at the park), trying to take precautions for COVID by not eating from the same container, and the cashier who was already kinda rude just looked at me and said "50 cents." and looked annoyed to even give me a second fork.. I've worked in many restaurants/bars and businesses in the food sector and I never seen a place charge for empty containers. It's kinda shameful and ironic they think it's ok to charge for chicken that isn't there but feel the need to charge you for a container or plate during a pandemic. There are a lot of other small businesses in that area I'd rather support in the future.
I was waiting for my coworker who was grabbing Schwartz, since I don't eat beef or pork I just walked a little over and noticed people in line. I stood in line which moved fairly quickly and was greeted and served by super friendly staff, I tried a roast chicken dinner and egg tarts (natas) and was pretty impressed. I took it home (closer to Ottawa) so it was sitting in my car for over an hour and a half but it was still really good by the time I tried it! Definitely recommend and will be back if i am in the area!
Rotisserie chicken variations and Portuguese specialties (including the infamous pasteis de nata). Usually a bit crowded, so you might have to wait in line a bit (outside), but definitely worth it. They provide a few chairs to sit while waiting. Safe COVID measures. The spicy chicken sandwich is under 8 with tips and taxes and offers very tasty and juicy chicken inside grilled buns, highly satisfying!
We went to buy at another restaurant but as we were passing by we noticed some people lining up, since our little boy loves roasted chicken we decided to try the roasted chicken and boy we loved every part of it we never tasted chicken this good! Definitely coming back...
I see some posts about how this place used to be better, but those people might be suffering from rosy retrospection. I went to this place after walking by many times and being tempted by the great smells and it was a fantastic decision. Great prices, fantastic food, and very friendly staff. The chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and delicious.
Poulet entier/ Whole chicken is what I go there for. Their poutine is also one of the best in town(with spicy chicken in it). I gave them 4 out 5 cuz there’s an old lady at the cash counter sometimes who sounds a little arrogant. Except this thing, they have one of the best Rotisserie chicken in the town.
