I recently came across Ryan Jewellers when shopping for a gold chain for my son’s birthday. Their prices and reviews were all positive and when I called they did not disappoint. The chains I inquired about were already sold but they sourced and brought in others in days at no cost to me! They phoned with a price based on the weight of the chains they received and there was absolutely no pressure. The transaction was effortless and I was provided with the shipping details within minutes! I live in a northern community in Ontario and received my package by Fedex in two business days! It arrived in a beautiful box with an appraisal certificate. I was beyond impressed! Staff are so knowledgeable, patient and provide exceptional customer service. Great experience!

Poor Customer Service. I was not greeted upon entering I stood in the middle of the store waiting for someone to even look up and acknowledge me. I counted 5 staff. When someone finally greeted me, I felt as though I was an inconvenience to them. I was looking for clarification on a timeline and felt as though I was being attacked and belittled because I misunderstood.

Be prepared to pay a 200% premium. Before you shop at large jewelry chains. Know what the spot price of gold and silver is the day you go to shop. I asked to look at a 85 gram 14 k chain. The amount of gold in the chain was worth 3800. The retail price tag was 8500. I called the manager out on it. She thought I didnt know what I was talking about till I started quoting the gold price for 14k that day. She went quiet quick. The most you should pay is a 30 to 50% premium if you are on good terms. Know your gold and silver spot prices.
