They have kept the friendly neighbourhood feel since the move and expansion. The staff there go the extra mile and will take the time to explain things to me and talk through my various projects.

I don't believe the bad employee's reviews. The staff is super knowledgeable, courteous and bilingual, and after 5 years of buying here (or ever since they moved, whenever that was) you still see the same faces. You don't get such good employees with low turnover unless you have great management. Prices are fair, selection is good, service is excellent. The fifth star is for doing your best to either speak in my language ir help me learn the words in yours, so we both grow. I have no difficulty with Patrick Morin next door but this Rona has the best service of all the surrounding hardware stores.
Usually this Rona store is fine although it is a franchise not a chain store so from time to time it is a bit of a pain...IF YOU ARE GETTING SOMETHING FROM THE OUTDOOR REAR OF THE BUILDING DURING THE WINTER BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL !! Last January I had a bad fall picking up some driveway salt ..total skating rink with a dusting of snow over it..I wnt down like a bag of rocks..badly bruised my ribs and had to sleep in a chair for almost three weeks ! They never thought to salt the area. Just be careful
One of the bad side about this branch is the typical issues that can be find in all other Rona stores the payment method… I wanted to use my gift card and they wanted me to know how much is the available credit in the card!!!! The other negative rate is related to not having a flooring materials (OSB, etc.) However, the good side is they have MAPEI stuffs available. And they are very well organized.
They have everything you need and you will meet friendly employees at the front (cashiers and service counters). But talking to anyone in the aisles or in departments is difficult and very often, they are very rude, dismissive and flat out disrespectful (especially the elder employees). Even though it is the closest store for me, I tend to go to the one in Vaudreuil or in Pointe-Claire instead.
