We used Ernie for our wedding five year ago, the food was amazing and guests still talk about how great the whole hog was! We used Ernies ready to go meals this weekend for a family birthday! We picked it up last minute, again everything tasted amazing and it was so convenient to throw together! The bottled bbq sauces were a great add on! Definitely will be supporting this business again soon!

Ernie's Mobile Whole Hog Barbecue Catering provided great service! With short notice, Ernie and his team came through with pork on a bun for 250 students at Prairie College. Contact was easy and friendly, delivery was punctual and hot (even after 1hr20min. for delivery) and the pork was delicious with plenty for seconds. I highly recommend them to cater future events! Thank you greatly.

We use Ernie's for corporate events throughout the year and they always deliver an amazing spread. Our most recent event was very last minute, and Ernie made it happen (with 10 more people added to the guest list the night before!!) I'm so appreciative of the efforts and professionalism from him and his delivery staff. And the food is AWESOME. Juicy chicken, the beef on a bun was delicious, the cupcakes were home made and BEAUTIFUL. We also do our corporate Christmas dinner through him every year, and we will certainly continue!

Ernie and his team catered our wedding this past September and did an absolutely fabulous job! In addition to being so warm and gracious with all our guests, they arrived punctually after driving through a snow storm to our venue out in the country and had everything set up quickly so no one was waiting long to eat. We had so many compliments on the food - the roast pork, chicken and sides were all amazing and plentiful - and many compliments about how friendly he and his wife were as they catered the event. They also had everything cleaned up after dinner very efficiently. Even though we missed the food tasting dates prior to the wedding, Ernie met with me and my fiancee over the summer to go over our selected menu, showed us around his kitchen, provided all the details we needed for our event, and followed through perfectly with everything discussed. We would definitely recommend their service based on the terrific food, customer service and reliability!

We had Ernie's mobile BBQ for our daughters wedding on June 22 and I have to say the food was incredible. The pork from the pig roast was juicy and delicious. All of our guests were very impressed with the food and everyone was full and said the food was delicious. There was lots to eat and more then enough food for everyone who wanted seconds. It is great that Ernie supplies the plates and cutlery that way a person doesn't have to worry about that on a busy wedding day. Ernie is very reasonably priced and is well worth it. We would definitely use Ernie again and I highly recommend if you need a caterer for your event Ernie's Mobile BBQ is who you should use.

We used Ernie for our wedding in August. He was very flexible in allowing us to make any changes to our order within 2 weeks of our event (very reasonable time allowance), and he was helpful when we were trying to decide how much food to bring in. The food was absolutely amazing! My only constructive feedback is that a) he was difficult to communicate with, reply time for emails was very slow. I understand it is a busy company but perhaps it may be necessary to hire an extra body for correspondence with clients. b) we were told that if we brought our own containers, we could take the leftovers. A BUNCH of people ended up leaving after the ceremony and not staying for dinner (almost half!!). But before asking us how we'd like to package things up, they began loading their truck with all our food. My husband had to run from the head table to confront them (during speeches, we had to put speeches on hold while this was sorted out), and when he asked about getting the leftovers, Ernie longer believed we should get them (liabilities to his company for consumption if we improperly stored the food). Which is totally fine and understandable, except we were told we could take the leftovers when we signed the contract, and over-ordered just in case, thinking at least we would get the leftovers! Overall, my guests were very pleased, well fed, and raved about food. He did end up letting us take the leftovers, too. I would give 5 stars except I think Ernie's Mobile BBQ should hire a few people for a customer relations role, as it seems he has his hands full in other areas, and customer service is lacking.
