The owner is extremely knowledgeable, you can tell he’s passionate about what he does. Not only that but he was really cool! I took my partner out for a day in the rock pit, before going he supplied us with all the knowledge we needed to find some treasures. We had such a great time! Thanks so much!

A great little shop that gives you the opportunity to visit their gravel pits to go search for agates, rocks and fossils. The gravel pits are truly some of the best in Canada to find agates of all types. Permits can only be purchased from the Rock Shop itself, unlike its outdated website stating you can purchase them from the corner store across the street. It would be nice to have them update their site (been years since its last update). As always owner is friendly and knowledgeable about rocks, minerals and fossils.
