Absolutely brutal
If I could rate less than one star I would. Our appraisal was way off base. First time this company did our appraisal John was bang on with 170k-173K. Less than 6 months later in Niagara all real estate had blown up. Values are up way over 30% people are getting more than their asking price and we were refinancing. The appraiser from this company came back with the same amount as 6 months ago. We even had a conversation during the walk through where I asked how do you guys keep up to date with busy markets like this. Now I know the answer they don't or she doesn't. I even called to complain to the owner. Left a detailed message about how upset I was for him.....he called me and I missed the call...but he never called back again. I know if I have an upset customer I call until I get through to them and do my best to resolve the situation not just call once and wash my hands of it. Anyhow they will never set foot in my door ever again bottom line. And any lender who uses them will not get my business either.
I recently had an Appraisal from Ridley, I was doing financing with a mortgage broker on my rental property. Everything went so smoothly from the initial phone call from their office to schedule a date, the payment, the friendly Appraiser Jackie and the overall good experience. I asked for a business card from Jackie and will definitely tell my Broker to choose them again as a place financing on other rentals!!. Thanks
Work was completed in a timely fashion by the appraiser. I would use again.
