Park has a lot of trees planted by leaders from all parts of the world. Here is nice wooden playground for children and two fontains. Unfortunately, at this moment they are closed. This place is worth visiting. Historical park in the middle of the city.

Rideau Hall - very interesting. Note, there is no parking area, you have to park on the side street. The tour is highly recommend. Staff are very helpful and informative.
Had coffee with the governor general with my mom. The governor general is a very beautiful down to earth women. Hope to see her again in the summer.
The park is beautiful with many trees planted by leaders from various countries. We found the tree planted by a former president of Brazil.
Rideau Hall is again one of those places which is a must visit for anyone visiting Ottawa. There are free guided tours available. No registration is required on weekends and walk ins are fine, there are tours every 30 min. Our experience was awesome. It is a nice way to learn a lot about the Rich Canadian History. There is no parking available and we have to use street parking which is free. The tour duration is 45 minutes.
