Earlier this year, I needed some parts done by a waterjet cutter and I went with Viking Profiles Inc. for the first time. I chose them for the job as they offered the best price compared to other job shops. Unfortunately it appears that you get what you pay for. Not only were the parts not to the drawing specifications, but when I called back to inquire about them, Jeff at Viking was extremely unprofessional and rude about the situation. He was not only unapologetic about the poor quality of the parts but at some points during the phone call he was scolding and told me that waterjet cutters cannot provide the tolerances I was looking for. Disappointed by their poor service, I ended up going with Vancouver Waterjet for the job. They charge a bit more but they were very professional throughout the entire process and were able to produce parts that met the drawing specifications. Turns out that Viking Profiles may not have the most precise machines, but regardless, I wished they had told me that they were not able to meet the part tolerances before accepting the purchase order and going through with the job. Needless to say, I won't be going back to them for future job.
