Dr. Gary Tao is the best dentist my family ever had, we had been his patient since 2002, we could not be happier with this decision. He is extremely caring, thorough and, patient and knowledgeable. The thing I like the most about him is how genuine and caring he is, willing to give me and my family as much time as we need to go over a treatment and why we are getting it. You will get call back whenever you are having questions and concerns, even during his time off. I highly recommend this dentist to you and to your families, it will be the best decision you ever make!

I’ve gone to Dr Tao for 10 years and he has been trustworthy and thorough. He always brings excellence and professionalism in everything he does. Our whole family goes to him and I have 3 young boys. It is not an easy feat to clean and fix cavities, it takes a lot of patience and kindness. His daughter Cecelia has joined him in his practice as well so now I have the benefit of seeing the both of them. :)
We moved to Burnaby 19 years ago and Dr. Tao has been our dentist since then. Even after he moved to Richmond and opened Sunshine Clinic several years ago, we didn't mind 45-minute drive and still exclusively use Dr. Tao's services, simply because we trust his skills, experiences, professionalism and integrity. Typically dental visits could make you feel anxious and sometimes scary, but for us the visits to Sunshine Clinic have always been worry free and pleasant. The staffs are very kind and friendly, the way how Dr. Tao talks makes us relax, he explains details of the treatments and answers our questions patiently, and he chose the most appropriate rather than the most expensive solutions for us. After each session, every single items on the bill are clearly explained, and we never needed to deal with our insurance company directly, the clinic normally takes care of everything. We are very grateful for having Dr. Tao available whenever we have dental issues.
Dr. Tao is a very knowledgeable person and uses current technology to help his patients understand what is going on with your current dental health. He explained some simple preventive measure's for sensitive teeth where other dentists might have thought of telling me. Great Dentist. My Family have been Dr. Tao's patient since 2002. He is some one you can trust!
