I was hopeful Sichuan’s service would be decent after looking at other reviews. While on a multi stop trip, I found the airline useless in helping passengers transiting. The service on the the plan was equally lacking.

This review is only about the airline representative in Vancouver. Just got off the phone with Mike (hope thats his real name and he's not trying to frame someone else, that's how bad his service was) provided me terrible customer service as I was just calling about my damaged baggage on a recent trip. He started off by saying that the damage to my bag was minor from the pictures he saw before I could say anything. I wasn't calling to debate the damage, but rather I was given this local number by their local rep and was just calling this one before trying their customer service line in China. He went off and yelled about not being able to provide customer service and solve problems (without answering any of my questions), would not transfer me to any other reps or manager, and asked me what I did for a living. I felt disrespected from when I picked up the phone till the end of the tirade. Really sucks cause I felt that the service in China and on the plane was quite good. Just really bad service on the ground in Vancouver and now I've got a busted bag.
