Attended this nicely organized event \Journey into Islam - Theme: Women in Islam\ - From start to finish they had everything beautifully covered addressing concerns and questions about Islam from a non-Muslim's perspective to sharing knowledge from Quran and teachings of Prophet Muhammad and his family, brilliant guest speakers, inventions by Muslims, Islamic Art and Calligraphy exhibition, mosque tours, Hajj, charity and of course delicious food and dessert. An open invitation to Muslims and Non-Muslims guests, community and non-community members. A houseful it was an excellent example of building bridges of understanding and breaking stereotypes by experiencing and learning from the rich and diverse faith-based values and teachings of Islamic World.
