Excellent European/Western butcher shop. Every single staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful as I bumbled my way through trying to buy a ham for the first time. Fantastic service even when the shop is very busy.

Excellent quality of meat! Much tastier and more tender than what you can get at a regular grocery store in Richmond I’ve been coming here for over two years and don’t remember ever being disappointed with the beef and chicken I bought. Their beef really is worth it, i.e. reliably good, be it steak for grilling or chuck for stewing. Their chicken wings fly way above the frozen grocery store wings from mass producers. My impression is that they have “standards” and make sure that what they put on their shelves is actually good.
Friendly service. I bought 2 rib eye steaks. Two prices (imported from Argentina?) and I chose the least expensive but 2 small steaks still cost 23. The more expensive steaks was pinker and the one I chose was darker. I asked if the steaks were fresh as the sides were discoloured. I was told it was but because of social distancing, I didn't ask to smell it. I bought it for a friend who knows his steaks and insisted I go to a butchers and not pre-packaged meats at a grocery. I was so disappointed to hear back from him that the steaks were not fresh and it smelt! So embarrassing!
