I've supported this local business for many years, and I'm quite disappointed with the deterioration of quality and service here. I've purchased custom window screens twice in the the past that were done perfectly and timely. Recently I purchased a custom window screen that was made to specification except two ugly cutouts in the frame of the screen. These cuts were jagged and defeats the purpose of a window screen. This was something I did not ask for. After speaking with staff about this, they informed me that I would need to buy a new screen if I didn't want those holes. He advised that all screens are now made this way to accommodate some windows. He added that I should have specifically asked for no holes if I didn't want them. There are an infinite possibility of things that I wouldn't want done to a window screen. I asked for a manager to kindly follow up, and call me back. I have not heard back from anyone.

Looking for an access panel cover for water shut-off valve and the senior clerk on the floor didn't have a clue what it was and just said that they don't have it. I later found it myself but they didn't have the size that I was looking for. Rona has downsized their stores as well as their customer service experience.
Able to find most things here, staff here most of the time are friendly and helpful. The consistent problem is the cashiers for me, these ladies are not friendly at all, no \hello\, no \thank you\. Scan your items, and then just hand you your receipt without looking at you. Every single time, every single one of them. I wish they would behave like the cashiers at other stores, that would make the shopping experience better.
A local mainstay for years in Richmond. Has a good selection of what most weekend warrior home repair folks are looking for. Prices for the most part are a bit higher than Home Depot but it is local, less crowded and usually a quicker in and out. Parking can be a problem at times as the lot out front is small. Only downside is the lack of a garden center. Just a small selection of plants in the spring.
*WARNING* Do not purchase Christmas decorations from Rona!! Their 30 day return policy does not apply to Christmas decorations and they will not stand by the products they sell. I basically threw away my money this year as the lights I bought didn't even last 1 season. I bought 2 different brands that clearly said \Outdoor Lights\ on the boxes (7 boxes of 70 lights each). After 1 week I noticed lights going out. After 3 weeks half the lights were out. When I tried replacing bulbs I noticed that the connections were heavily rusted and a bulb replacement could not fix the problem. Rona said they could do nothing for me. I will get new Christmas lights next year from Costco.
Do not come here. Service is straight up hostile. The employees there are very rude and try to help as minimally as possible. A bunch of answers they gave were \I don't know\ and they offered next to no advice. There issues are further amplified once I went to Home Depot. There the employees were so much more helpful and friendly. They solved my problems quickly. I urge you not to go to Rona.
