Nicole is an excellent and patient teacher. Her knowledge of the Erhu is second to none. The studio is comfortable and a relaxing place to learn Plus she has a nice selection of Chinese instruments for sale too.
I'm very happy to have Nicole as my first music teacher. Learning a musical instrument at a later stage in life is exceptionally difficult for me, especially without any knowledge of keys, tones and tempo. Nicole understands my shortfalls and translates the notations to a comprehensible level. She selects worksheets according to my skill. I enjoy my lessons along with her patience and constant encouragement. It's been over three years since I started. Now I am able to play some familiar tunes, which I had never thought of doing before. We are having a respite in the midst of a pandemic but I continue with my practice and look forward to erhu-ing soon at the studio.
Been at JW Music Studio ever since I was young! Teachers are absolutely amazing, they put in so much effort and time to teaching, I really learned a lot. Not only are they professional at what they do, they provide so many different opportunities throughout the year, opportunities one may never get to experience. This involved participating in different events, performing at shows, or even on special holidays:)) They push students to thrive and do such one individual could never have thought they had the ability to do.
I have been taking DiZi lessons here for at least two years. The teacher is very patient and responsible, and the teacher is very professional! Now I'm in a band!! Thank the teacher's guidance and teaching!! Recommended!!!
