This is a nice walk with an unsurprisingly great ocean view. That fact that your are walking on top of a large sewage pipe does not detract from the scenery one bit. I went recently on a clear night with a full moon, during a wind storm, and it had a very other-worldly feel to it. Once you reach the terminus, there's a platform where you can stand out, over the water, so it really gives you that \at the end of the earth\ sensation. If you decide to walk the jetty at night, be advised the the gates to the park will be closed. You'll have to park in front of the sewage treatment plant and walk the rest of the way. Which is fine, because you walk past a pipe that's burning off sewer gas in a 20 foot high plume of flame. It's pretty cool.

Way longer than it appears, but worth it for good views and fresh air. Great for watching planes take off and land, sometimes fascinatingly low. Can get windy and wet, but the whole walk is long enough you could come back dried off.

Excellent place to walk with lots of great views of wildlife, planes landing and mountains.

At first glance this is a flat straight walk with no variety is scenery, but in the last month I have hiked it 4 times and it is definitely one of my favourites. Each time I have seen birds (last time two bald eagles), ducks and seals. The views of the mountains are wonderful and it is quite marvelous watching the planes fly in right over your head.

Beautiful long walk to the end of the jetty! Keep an eye out for wildlife, including snow geese, seals and eagles. The full walk is flat and gravel and should accessible. Good view of the sunset and planes taking off from YVR.
