Been eating at this restaurant for years. Not cheap, but quality is consistent & excellent. Everybody eats king crab or lobsters here. You will not be disappointed.

Delicious delicious delicious. Omei restaurant never disappointed their loyal customer. Ordered a 8.5lbs lobster with 5 different types of eating style. Steamed lobster claws with vermicelli, lobster tail and body with ginger and scallion, ginger stir fry lobster leg, lobster tamalley steam egg, and lobster tamalley fry rice. I love the steam lobster claw with garlic, all time favorite. I like the taste of freshness from the lobster yet the vermicelli is filled with garlic. I also like the steam egg with lobster tamalley, it is good with the fry rice or steam rice. Also order steam Vietnam marble goby fish, i like the soy sauce they have with the fish, very different from other Chinese restaurant. Their soy sauce can bring the fish to another level. Remember to leave stomach room for their signature desserts. They include my favorite fresh mango mochi. If I give a score to Omei, how about give them 10/10!

It’s on the pricey side but it is worth it. One of the best places within the GTA for having the best lobsters. I love the way they cook the lobster in different styles for different dishes. Desserts are always good and Ringo the owner will make you feel welcome and is attentive to his customer’s needs. If you’re lucky, he will serenade you with his trademark the Bee Gees music. The restaurant recently renovated its washroom area so no more filthy carpet. O MEI is definitely a spot to go to if you’re looking to celebrate special occasions.

Food is very tasty and fresh. The way they make the lobster is fantastic and so much meat with it. Went there couple days ago around 7:30ish and wait til the sky getting dark then able to enjoy the romantic feel at the patio which my friend highly recommended with. Price might be a bit higher then surrounding restaurants, but it definitely worth to go. I tried several seafood restaurants and they are the best, especially how they made the sauce of ginger and scallions.. just loving it. Now I understand how they can survived in this field over 30 years even though there are so many new restaurants keep growing. Better make reservation if you could like to sit at the patio as they only have few tables available.

Ordered Buddha’s Temptation Combo for Chinese New Year Dinner. Then found out that Buddha Jump Over the Wall Soup is without abalone and sea cucumber (none), lots mushrooms and chicken leg. Buddha Jump Over the Wall Soup should be come with seafood, or at least some. Disappointed and messed up our new year eve dinner.

Their lobster is the best in Toronto which is very fresh and full of meat! Very tasty! It is worthy of the price. Not like some places, present the lobster in a fancy way, but the lobster is very thin, no meat inside...
