Canadian College Italy changed my life beyond what I could have possibly imagined. Living and learning in a small boarding high school in an ancient town really opened my eyes to other cultures, ideas and customs. It taught me a sense of family and belonging. I got to experience Italy through the eyes of a local while simultaneously creating life-long connections from around the globe. CCI made me a person of the world. Being this kind of person has been invaluable in my professional life as it has afforded me to think critically, empathetically and outside the box. Due to the nature of boarding life abroad, CCI instills a mature independence in young people they carry into university. In this regard, CCI is the absolute best for university preparation. The staff and teachers all live locally and are passionate about what they do and go above and beyond to foster a renaissance in the students. As for the location, Lanciano is very safe and is centrally located in Abruzzo and is only a few hours from Rome.
