Eric is a great and talented teacher. While taking his online classes, he showed patience towards his students and gave valuable insight on how to play the piano properly and creatively. His setup is professionally done so you can see and hear everything he is doing which makes it easy to follow. Highly recommend!

Eric is an excellent piano teacher. Throughout his lessons he inspires, encourages and evokes creativity. I especially enjoy listening to the original compositions that he and my daughter create together. I highly recommend Eric as any student would be lucky to have him as a teacher.
I feel so fortunate to have had Eric as my son's piano teacher for the past year. Eric is professional, patient, friendly, and talented (both as a musician and as a teacher). I really appreciate his philosophy with regard to music pedagogy - he balances technical skill practice with creativity and improvisation. I rarely had to ask my son to practice and I really appreciated that Eric hosted two piano recitals during the year. What a phenomenal instructor.
When we moved from Vancouver to Victoria a year ago, we needed a piano teacher for our daughter who had finished grade 8 piano. We searched the internet and found Eric, and not knowing anything about him, we took a chance with this young piano teacher. We were lucky as Eric turned out to greatly exceed our expectations. Our daughter's sight reading, which had been a weak spot, improved dramatically, and her interest in practicing the piano also increased significantly, as Eric has been a very stimulating teacher. We are sorry that he is leaving Victoria for Vancouver, as it will be hard to replace such an outstanding teacher.
Eric is a great piano teacher that I would recommend to friends. He is passionate about music and is kind and patient to his students. He is also willing to put effort in understanding his student's unique learning style and adjusting his teaching methods accordingly. We are going to miss him as he move back to Vancouver.
