The management is really bad. Some teachers are fine. But one ECE teacher doesn't have consistent standard. It's hard to follow her .But I don't know if it's because it's from zoom or other reasons, her standards keep changing a lot. Most important, I hope she can respect others' privacy, plz don't read out others' private message.

Poor management. Every time we asked information from the receptionist, she didn't know anything and didn't give proper guidance where we should get the info. Most teachers are fine, But not Ms. W, her English speaking is poor. Sometimes she can't explain the topic well and speaks Chinese during class. It's not respectful to the non-Chinese students.

The quality of some ECE instructors at Capital College is very poor. I rated two stars only because there are still some great instructors. However, not anyone with a few years of field experience knows how to teach. Some instructors like Guneet only teaches what in the textbook, and has no real world examples provided which is pure theoretical. Some instructors like Terra who comes to class unprepared like spending more than 30 minutes during the class just to write notes, email notes, wait, and confirm if students receive them. In addition, there are a lot of unnecessary long pauses for whatever reasons she has, which is really awkward, btw. Students come to Capital College to learn and to get a better job. Pure theoretical study won't help the students succeed in their daily jobs. Most of them study at Capital College are NOT to become a good researcher or professor. To arm them with good practical skills and practical knowledge is the key to their success. The management of Capital College should think more about what is really important to their students, and make better hiring decisions moving forward.
