Very clean and tidy gym. I come to do exercise every morning and the gym is very clean every time. The staff here are very enthusiastic and they will take the initiative to greet you! This makes me feel good all day! They have very favorable fitness card packages.

Avoid this location if you want to stay Covid safe. Treadmills don't have separating glass. Some members wear no mask around the gym and staff could care less, even after the issue is brought to their attention. I haven't seen the staff wiping and sanitizing the equipment even once. Remember this gym is franchised, so it's not all Anytime Fitness locations. The no 5 Rd location is amazing and so much safer. The owners of this particular gym just seem not to care at all.

Don't go here if you want to be covid safe. This is the only anytime location that don't require masks at all times. I workout at 5 am and no one wears a mask, not even leaving/entering or in the common areas. They just don't have a mask with them. There are wipes and used masks littered everywhere and even left on the machines. At the North Van location I was working out by myself during unstaffed hours so I would take my mask off periodically to have a break. Later that afternoon I recieved a phone call from the manager saying they saw me on the camera removing my mask and I will not be allowed back if I do it again. I was not offended, I had more respect for the owner as they are taking covid seriously unlike this Richmond location. Government guidelines say it's the law everyone must wear a mask when indoors in a public place or business. I'm not sure why this location thinks they are exempt. I contacted the management and they said they would look into it as they take these matters seriously but nothing changed

Fantastic gym, very clean and tidy, and has everything I need. The best part is I can actually deadlift here. Has great atmosphere and staff, and the gym is very spacious so social distancing comes easily. I've also made quite a few friends here. Antonio

Its pretty safe, there are always 2 meters distance between equipments, staffs are nice, recommended.
