We did not stay here, and we never will. We were simply riding our bikes around Revelstoke a year or so back, and found ourselves "lost" at the end of a road, so we took a quick shortcut through this property, rather than doubling back on our path, and we were berated and embarrassed by a staff member who told us that we were trespassing and that we would be removed if necessary! How hard would it have been for this individual to treat us with respect and dignity - maybe even offer to help us find our way, or explain WHY it was such a huge deal that we were cutting through?! Anyone like this does not deserve to run a place like this, and they gave an instant bad name to what might very well be a nice place to stay.

Totally recommend this amazing hostel!! I stayed here first for a few days but decided to extend the stay when I saw the place. It's a cozy, super clean and modern renovated church with everything you can wish for in a hostel. Stayed in a dorm room and after in a private room, both were lovely and very comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and helped me a lot to get started in Revy. Thank you very much again for the great stay, I hope I can come back very soon!

Journey's Perch was our favourite stop on our Rockies roadtrip. Amazing hostel, beautifully renovated from a church to hostel and such a warm welcome. Check in was easy, we actually arrived early but were able to have a cuppa after our long journey and chill in the lovely open common room. There is a big open kitchen with all amenities and labelled cupboards for your food. A continental breakfast is provided every morning of bagels, cereal and tea, coffee and juices which was fab and really set us up for the day. Had a private room which was quiet and super comfortable and the shared bathroom facilities were very clean and kept in a great condition. Hostel is just out of town but easily walkable. There is also the shuttle bus from town to the mountain resort with a stop right outside. Free passes are available from JP. Just loved it here. Thank you for a great stay we hope to be back soon!

I accidentally walked on the property here thinking it was a public path and the owner came out and tried fight me. He accused me of leaving empties and pissing on his property the night before even though I just arrived in Revelstoke that day. He gave me a great first impression of the town.

One of the most gorgeous, clean and inviting hostels I've ever been to! Staff is super friendly, rooms and shared bathrooms are always spotless, and the overall decor and vibe of the place screams mountain adventure, while still remaining very classy and unique. Will always stay here when I'm in Revy, hands down!

I went in many hostels around the world (you can see some of my review in other count google) Journey's Perch is the BEST one ! Very fancy, elegant and so confortable like hotel 4-5 stars but with price of guest house. And hyper clean ! And the kitchen with all equipment and spice and oil... you need ! Of course compare to asia, south anerica and even europe and others provinces of Canada is expensive. But 50 ca (57.50 with taxe) in dormitory 4, double price for private room 2 peoples, for revelstoke or park national around here is really cheap ! Specialy for quality/price THE BEST in this area. Breakfast is includ (not the best because miss cheese and jam or saussage but enough because buffet ) and coffe free anytime. And you have free entrance (voucher) for aquatic center wich cost usually almost 10ca. And the dorms are very bigs and the bed really good. I slept like baby ! The personal and the owner are very nices, friendly and knowledgeable! And give very good advices and informations.

Journey's Perch is amazing. They were immediately friendly and welcoming. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The space is wonderfully decorated and makes you feel as though you are in the most Canadian hostel ever. The facilities were incredibly clean and up-to-date. The continental breakfast was perfect and a great start to the day. Make sure you get the free pass to the recreation centre!

This is everything I want out of a hostel (guest house?) It has an open kitchen with space to cook, store food, and socialize, large long tables to play games, meet people, and plan trips, and a local cat (outside). There a small breakfast in the morning; and cooking at night. The Location isn't that close to town (you can walk, but in the winter it's icy) but it's closer to the resort. Most were here to play in the snow, and we met partners to go ski touring in Rogers pass our first day here.
