parking space is very limited for the parks and picnic areas. and they have put o parking\ signage everywhere on the sides of the roads where vehicles can physically park without causing any harm to traffic. In Vancouver area with so many big parks and lakes there are many parking lots for free and you can always park on the road sides for free. Not sure why Whistler municipality has decided to limit parking and cause a hard time for visitors who are trying to enjoy a day by the a tiny park at Alta lake?!!
