Showed up 65 minutes before close to try a new place for some food before heading back to Saskatoon. Ordered two dishes with rice. And some wings extra on the side. After 10 minutes waiting outside, dude came to tell us there was only enough rice for one of our orders. Kind of a bad red flag that the rice was obviously old and bottom of the pot and they didn't want to make any fresh rice. It tasted that way too. The meat was good. Wings pretty fatty but tasted good. Went back inside to ask for a fork. The two young dudes replied they were out of forks. Asked for maybe a spoon or knife or anything. They had none. My friend spilled his chicken when opening the container so I also asked for napkins. They were sitting watching something on the laptop and said no napkin either sorry. As I stared at a roll of paper towel sitting beside me on a vacant table I asked for paper towel maybe. Guy told me sorry all out. Then the other kid woke up out of his trans and corrected the other guy saying yes can grab some paper towel and also then offered to grab a metal fork from the back if we would leave it after we finished eating in our vehicle outside. Food was mediocre in the end. Probably better at lunch rush but disappointed with the last scoop of rice from early in the day and no urgency to help with napkin or paper towel or eating utensils after waiting 20 minutes for. Love to try new places but this experience wasn't too good and ill be trying somewhere else instead next time.

I ordered tteokbokki, too much sauce on it, its soupbokki. And theres like white hair? Or fur? On the tteokbokki. Im so disappointed. And for your information we don't have any animals here at home let alone old guys.
I love getting Japchae here. Unfortunately their hours aren't accurate and I've come here 3 separate times when craving them to see a sign on the door saying they'll be open after 4. If your hours are only 4-730 please update to reflect that.
Hours are all over the place, don't trust the hours they have online as there is a chance they won't actually be open. I have had two seperate occasions where part of my order was completely forgotten. Extremely frustrating!
Sorry for the review but wasn’t even average. The staff are very unorganized but the girl up front was very friendly. I hate to post but was pretty disappointed. I have never eaten at this restaurant before but their website intrigued me. I went in and placed a order and waited. I was told they were out of Bulgogi and the rice wasn’t ready and my order would be delayed. The Bulgogi dinner comes with soup and a salad. The soup is just broth but was very tasty. The salad was a few pieces of broccoli and not a salad at all. The mondoo’s and white rice were the best part of my meal. This was not a cheap meal either with the tip! Sorry was very disappointed.
Went to the east end location today. Just before noon, and the place was virtually empty. Hardly any wait time. The staff member behind the counter was friendly and the food was very fresh and incredibly flavourful. The only downside was that it is not very comfortable, and the interior aesthetic is cold, white and stark. Definitely not a hang out place for long visits, and the music is a little loud. But it's a great place for a stop off to get excellent quality Korean food for a decent price. I will definitely come back here again!
Extremely disappointed in the customer service I have received from this business and I had yet to even try the food! This is our second attempt at ordering supper from here. I called as their online ordering was saying it was unavailable this evening, so I called and asked if there is an issue if I should ordered over the phone, first i was told to use skip the dishes ( I try to avoid this as they take such a large % from the business) second I had a question about one of the meals (as I have never eaten here before) I was then asked if he could call me back, then he said actually just call back in 5 min as he seemed he was bothered by having to answer the phone. I told the gentleman it's ok not to worry about it I wont call back and I will find another business to support... all he had to say was "Sounds good" and he hung up the phone. Extremely disappointed guess we will not be giving this business try.
11/26/2019 - First experience and it was pretty good. Great, friendly staff and fast service. Food was good, but it was not quite the rave that others say it is. The pork was a bit fatty and the flavour did not have that lingering, complex depth I always look for. For Korean street food (I think I read this somewhere) it is perfect, but I guess I was expecting something less fast-food and more home cooking.. And spending 14 a bowl is a bit steep... However, I am liked enough to know I am going back... The menu and food is too good to not try again.
