Red Fish Blue Fish is one of the restaurants that I’m gonna miss when I leave Victoria. They don’t have many dishes on the menu but everything is delicious. They’re very busy during summer time, despite waiting in line for awhile, I quiet enjoyed the sunshine and the view of the harbour. This place is a must try in Victoria

Solid fish and chips, super crispy and fresh. All the sides and sandwiches are delish. The chowder is spot on. Staff could be friendlier and less cocky. Enjoy your meal by the ocean and soak in the sunshine (although always windy). All that’s missing is a cold beer.

Great tasty fish & chips with great nice ocean view! We had a bowl of chowder and 2-piece halibut fish chips. The chowder was surprisingly delicious! It tasted different from the traditional clam chowder but was pretty similar to a spicy Thai-style coconut soup, which was my favourite. It’s a good match to fish & chips. The halibut fish chips were good as we have never had halibut before so wanted to give it a try. It didn’t taste as tender as I thought. Would recommend to order cod or salmon instead.

Got and split a two piece halibut and fries plate. Batter was beautifully golden brown and crispy but the fish was a hair over cooked for my liking. Fries were perfect, just the right amount of soggy and very potato-y. Also came ketchup, tartar sauce, malt vinegar and a vinegar based coleslaw. Line was incredibly long and moved quite slowly as well. All in all still a delicious meal, and would definitely recommend if you're ever on the island!

Absolutely the best place for chowder (with coconut milk) and grilled salmon in Victoria!! Always amazing friendly fast service, upbeat atmosphere, great patio right on water with views of inner bay, food is delicious and prices are great. On top of that they also support sustainable seafood and use biodegradable cutlery. Can get busy on weekends but this place is awesome and is absolutely worth visiting ️ recommending!:)
