Best place to stop in gasoline alley! They have a big selection of snacks and candy. The locally made cornucopia popcorn is awesome! And their washrooms are really nice and very clean.

****UPDATED Jan 21, 2020****. This Esso location and Sweet Market has been nominated for Canada’s Best Washroom, another reason to stop here! A MUST go to! The most beautiful washrooms ever! And an amazing candy store! Lots of old favourites and many new ones. A little fireplace in the corner to sit down at. A wonderful find! Every time I stop here or drive past this gas services area is clean, shovelled and has great access in and out.
My daughter puked all over herself in the car without warning and the staff were so helpful in giving us some bags and paper towels and pointing us in the direction of the car wash. It was a good place to stop for a gas/bathroom/lunch break.
This is the most amazing little place to stop in Gasoline Alley. The washrooms are lovely and so clean. They have an array of Candy, and a cute little deli with homemade meals. My boyfriend and I tried the Italian Panini and it was so good! We also tried the homemade Carrot Cheesecake which was delicious. Such a lovely experience! We will be back every time we pass through Red Deer.
This place is a hidden gem! I stopped here on a holiday weekend once when most of Gasoline Alley was closed and it was a shock. Who knew that this unassuming gas station has one of the best rated bathrooms in Canada? I was also surprised by the incredible decor, including a toy train suspended from the ceiling! And unlike most gas stations, the food is fantastic - freshly made sandwiches, pizza and other treats, which they often offer samples of. They also carry Alberta made beef, turkey, and elk jerky. They have a great candy selection for the little ones too. With the selection, it's hard not to buy something here and if you stop in Gasoline Alley, you have to drop by for a quick visit.
