RC Harris Waterworks Beach

Back today February 06.2021 I had a feeling that the water was up over the walls and freezing. Usually it's a great view and my plans worked out. But my god it was windy and cold. The water has been blowing up onto land and has the pier and rocks completely formed in ice. Love this area and make trips all year for every season. After talking with members of the Beaches that have a history in this area and grew up around RC Harris water treatment plant I soon got the information needed of the beach and water front. As kids growing up it was always known as Waterworks Beach named after RC Harris. A little history brought back from 1941 when the treatment plant first opened.
