Played here today and enjoyed the course. The greens were in fantastic shape. The fairways were very good. Unfortunately, it was our second Manitoulin round in as many days where my wife and I followed a senior's foursome the ENTIRE round and waited on every... single... shot (different course yesterday). What's up with Manitoulin golfers and simple etiquette? The bunkers were unplayable and the rough was a little sketchy in spots (lift and place was our workaround). I'd also suggest better yardage markers for those that aren't familiar with the course (there are sunken markers in the ground but some clearly-identifiable stakes would be a huge, and inexpensive, improvement). The clubhouse was a bit of a mess, I'm afraid to say, but that didn't detract from the golfing itself (and the staff was very friendly). All in all, a scenic course with a good layout and good greens. We intend to play again someday. *Somebody tell golfers on the island that a riding two-some shouldn't take 2.5 hours to play 9 holes!!

Didn't golf here, but did eat here because it was the only restaurant in town open. The food was surprisingly very good. Fresh hamburgers and chicken fingers made on site. The wife had the fish which had an excellent batter. Try the swing bridge blonde ale, very delicious.

When we are looking to treat ourselves (& not have to do dishes) we have been enjoying the bacon cheeseburgers with poutine (made with curds) and the real chicken fingers with French fries. Haven't been disappointed with the food and time frame given on pick up. Staff is friendly and they deserve the tip I leave.

Awesome fish dinner, best fish I've had in a long time. Had a blast trying out fling golf. Service staff was on the ball.
