Came here after the free guided tour of the Parliament Building. Fine dining for a steal! 3 course tasting menu with a coffee/tea for only 30. Exquisite plating and presentation, and I was told they try to use locally sourced products.

We had a lunch after guided tour. We have chosen table d'hote for two persons. For 44 CAD each of us got an appetizer, three small dishes, dessert and coffee. The meal was a sort of fusion cuisine, with many elegant small touches, such as sea buckthorn berry in dessert. All in all, better value than most restaurants in old city. Strongly recommended.

Went there during my Parliament visit and loved it! The place is so beautiful and impressive. The food was great and I loved the fact that eveything was made with local produces. I will come back that's for sure.

The setting is lovely and the table well appointed. It was quiet and a pleasant atmosphere. The wine was mediocre and way over priced. We took the special menu of local products "Iles de la Madeleines". The soup - clam based was bland and not warm enough. The canned clam chowder I've bought is better. The main course: the galete de harang was undercooked and doughy - the crust was non-existant. The loup marin was rubbery and tasteless. The salad was a mystery - only the hazelnuts had flavour. and the dessert. A lovely cheese similar to Pont l'Eveque was placed on a gluey jam mixture that clashed horribly with the cheese. Once scraped away the cheese was good. The bread served with it was so small that I didn't taste it with the jam. Even the coffee was not as good as the last time we were here. Way over priced for the quality. We left hungry. It's our third visit. We won't be back.

Beautiful location but the vegetarian pasta was nothing to write home about. The other entrees looked a lot better.
