An enjoyable dinner service featuring classical French cuisine modernized with some Quebec touches. The dining space is welcoming that is domestic meets industrial. Our server was very courteous and patient to explain the menu in detail in English. Food delivers fully, is beautifully prepared, and tastes delicious!

We had such a good time! If you enjoy food and talking about food, have a seat at the (comfortable) bar that overlooks directly into the kitchen space. The chef Sarah was so nice, sharing her inspirations, technique, and ingredient choices. The waitress really seemed to know her stuff when it comes to wine, and recommended a great bottle. We were told there had been a recent shift in the focus of the cuisine, being now more middle-eastern inspired, but with a twist, and local products. All in all a casual and memorable night!
We had a fantastic dinner here on our first night in Quebec. Our first course was the large mixed charcuterie platter. I have a big appetite but there is so much food in this dish that I wouldn't recommend it for a party of two but for 4 or more it would be the perfect size. Smaller version of this platter is available for half the price. All cheeses (soft and hard) are local from Quebec. Mix of terrines, pates and dry sausage were all very tasty. There was also the most amazing tasting pickles I've ever had that were served along with this platter. For our second course we chose two dishes from the small plates section of the menu. We ordered the clam salad and duck hearts dishes. Duck hearts were were served with mushrooms, artichokes and an amazing bone marrow sauce that was so good we decided to come back again for our last meal couple of days later. Our second meal was equally as good with menu having slight variations. Our first meal was on a quiet week night while second on a busy Friday night. I recommend making a reservation. We sat at a table for both meals but you have an option of sitting at the bar overlooking an open kitchen watching the chef perform her magic. For our second meal we went with the smaller mixed charcuterie platter and 3 small dishes to share including once again the duck hearts. We also ordered the smoked trout over bread pudding dish which was very interesting and reminded us of a lox and cream cheese bagel. Highlight of the night was the Boudin dish which including blood sausage as well as a sausage stuffed with lobster in a spicy sauce. Both meals were so good. This is one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating anywhere in the world.
Great food. Would come back again. Great atmosphere!
Hands down the best dining experience we had in Quebec City. Maybe because we had personal attention from the owner Louie but we did not know him and he treated us like royalty. He owns the butcher shop down the street so anything with smoked meat or sausage was excellent. The best dish I ate was snails, clams and anchovies on bread. It's tastes as good as as it sounds. A wonderful place with great people. You won't have a better time in QC.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs if you are not a Millennial Hipster. They have no knowledge of what good food is or how to serve it. They easily pour a 175 bottle of wine without changing the wine glasses or serve 3 appetizers without a change of utensils!
We really enjoyed our meal here. We had a platter of chicken for 2 and it was delicious and very reasonably priced for Quebec. I recommend this restaurant highly.
I've been here for my birthday with some good friends and we definitely enjoyed our experience! The food was tasty and the staff professional and nice. Sarah made us feel home both with her food and her company! Simply great!
