Visited Queens General for my Covid shot. The best organized, friendliest, welcoming and caring experience one could ask for.

Took 6 year old in with possible broken ankle, finally got triaged after waiting an hour and a half when her father finally rung the buzzer again. Nurse was less than pleasant. Sent back to waiting room with three ahead of us, 2 hours later having called no one into OP we gave up, left and went to another hospital. Bad experience.

I had an accident with a hatchet near Keji on July 12th. Went to the emergency and everyone fron the security guard, nurses, x-ray tech and Dr. were amazing. Best emergency room experience my old accident prone as ever had. Dr. even called the next day to check on me.

A relative was admitted. Came there daily from out of town daily. After a week of paying the 4 parking, the hospital told us that she would be there 4 to 6 more weeks. Decided to get the monthly pass for parking. 40. 2 days after the purchase, the hospital transferred her out to another hospital. Went to return the parking pass but they would not refund any money. Not impressed!!!

AMAZING staff who treat you like a human being and not a number! They were helpful, kind, caring, and compassionate!! The wait was very short, I saw a great doctor (Dr. Blackadar) and they helped me without making me feel like a burden or that I was wasting their time!! The hospital was VERY clean and they had chairs that actually looked new instead of being "repaired" with duct tape!!! South Shore Regional Hospital could learn A LOT from them!! Including how you talk to, and treat a patient!! This is where I will be going from now on when I need to, its well worth the drive!!!

Was only there to pick up or drop off family members. Easy to navigate with friendly helpful staff.

The queens general is the best hospital I have ever been to in n.s.The staff were excellent and extremely caring and friendly.I am a retired rn and have worked in several hospitals as well as having my trips to er over the years.None can hold a candle to Queens General. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing as it should be therefore a quicker recovery. The hospital and it’s rooms were spotless. Not one nurse was rude, in fact the opposite. They were always smiling and upbeat. This is how hospitals were 40 years ago.Very professional. My Dr. had the best bedside manner I’ve ever come across in all my years. If I have a choice I will go to this hospital from now on.
