Queen St West at Augusta Ave

(Vogue cites the district as \West Queen West\ in its blurb headline, though Queen Street West in the actual item. For out-of-towners, this may not matter, but \West Queen West\ is an area seen as bounded by Bathurst Street and Gladstone Ave.) That's VOGUE. And all I see is High Rents, Shops Closing & Pretentious Credit Hoarders. No one walks with shopping bags in hand. Just overly expensive for no reason. No longer the Fashion Forward creations of yesterday. The style is Joe Fresh, Winner's, GAP, H&M & they call it modern living. Very few Fabric Shops left. My favorite Bead store is Closing down (le Sigh). Graffiti Alley is worth the trip but clean your shoes before you enter your house because you don't know what you may bring back with you under your knock off sole's. The Alley is covered in grease from numerous restaurants that use it to dump garbage, food & oil from their grease traps. Very icy in Winter.
