The fortifications in the old part of Quebec City are pretty cool. Our accommodations were just outside the wall which allowed us to spend quite a bit of time milling about inside the wall, seeing all the fortifications! I highly recommend allowing 3 days to see all that the Old City has to offer!

It gives the city the old world feeling. Not quite like the Great Wall of China but it's an interesting part of the city. The existing walls of the fortifications are all originals. Some ports (gateways) have been torn down to give way to streets. But the fortifications basically encircles the \Old Québec\. Must see for me.
Great place kids lived it. Relaxing way to spend an hour. Then walk old city
This place is a big area and not one spot, the name actually is a complex or a neighborhood. One place must need visited.
Very interesting exhibit and beautiful dioramas of the old Quebec city. The interpreters are very friendly and knowledgeable, makes us feel very welcomed even when we choose to speak English.
