The woman that cut my hair was good, but she offered to curl it a bit, then the supervisor came along and said that was an extra charge but because my hair stylist wasn’t aware they wouldn’t charge me. Instead of leaving it at that the supervisor starts lecturing me about this and how I’m off the hook this time to pay for it. Super unprofessional and uncomfortable. She had an Eastern European accent, I won’t be back because of this.

I travelled an hour to this location for a haircut based on the good reviews I heard about their services. Then the day of my appointment I reach the location to only hear that they can’t give me my haircut services because I’m under 18. This is completely unacceptable because this is NOT mentioned on their WEBSITE or any given email or told through any conversation on the phone. I asked the receptionist at the front desk where it is on the website and they could not find it as well. I also offered to call a parent to give verbal consent over the phone however they told me a guardian was needed to sign consent. I ended up having to walk out upset. I can’t say anything regarding the quality of their services but their customer service regarding the circumstances was absolutely terrible. WARNING to look out for this if you are under the age of 18. I will update the review if any further action like a compensation or apology occurs
My sister came in for a haircut and walked out really upset. She was denied a haircut because she needed to have a parent present and the parent needed to sign a consent form, which is resonable IF this information was on the website or if Blanche MacDonald followed up with an email before she came in for her appointment. She received terrible customer service as they wouldn't make am exception for something that was of their fault. If you are under 18 please be aware of this. I can't speak to the quality of their services, but I am quite upset on behalf of my sister and hope Blanche will at the very least call and apologize. I will update my review if they can make this right.
Just got a fantastic cut there today! The students work slowly, but you'll never leave with a bad cut, as teachers frequently check in and guide the students through it. They're all communicative and make sure it's not only a cut they're proud of, but also one that you personally love. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone- my only note is to make sure you've got plenty of time. Thanks for the great cut! I'll definitely be coming back next time!
I went to this place based on the recommendations and failed with that choice. I understand they are students. Yet, I was expecting a higher level of performance. That inexperienced student was extremely slow and gave a lousy service. She made a mistake, and it took even longer to fix it. Meanwhile, I was sitting there for the whole day (8 hours for bleach and hair cut!), and once I dared to point it out, they immediately reply that they are learning. (Even a learner will do it for less than 8 hours) No eating or drinking offered for the whole 8 hours. It was a horrible experience. And the result is just meek. I am mad on me for this bad decision.
