Incredible mushrooms! Try the arctic kiwi in the Fall, too.

Interesting store on site. Besides mushrooms, they have tasty meat and mushroom food stuffs as well as honey from their own hives and mountain kiwi fruit.

Locally grown mushrooms. Cremini and portfolio. Great prices. Also has mushroom burgers made out of mushrooms and mixed burgers with mushrooms and beef blend. Certified Organic!

A terrific source of portabello and cremini mushrooms in the London region. Head east on Cromarty road from hwy 74 just south of the 401. The farm store is just east of Elgin Road (old hwy 83) and has regular weekday hours. Fresh product in large quantities for a great price. Owners and staff are all really nice people!

Here's my note to Whitecrest: Was down visiting my family in St. Thomas and Aylmer since last Friday and while visiting my sister in Aylmer yesterday, she recommended I stop by your place of business and pick up a couple large boxes of Portobello's to bring home and freeze (she knows how I love mushrooms).l Anyhow, she gave me directions and I stopped by your retail store on my way home to Toronto yesterday. I got there between 12:30 and 1 p.m.. I walked in the store and waited and waited for someone to come out. I considered hammering on the door (with the push locks but didn't want to alarm anyone). After about 10 minutes I figured to hell with it and was just about to leave when I heard someone talking upstairs so I yelled up. The fellow that sits at the desk right above (at least I think that was his desk) just looked down and told me someone would be right down. Get this, I waited another 5 minutes (maybe even more) and still no one showed up. Angry, I just thought that you're lucky I'm honest with product and a cash register sitting there, went out the door and headed back to the highway and home. Obviously I have nothing to gain by complaining but being a shopping centre executive, I realize the importance of customer service and thought you should be aware what's going...........even more so as you're a family owned business. For what it's worth, perhaps your door should have a buzzer on it or at least a bell that a potential customer could ring if no one was there. And here's the reply from a Mr. Leader............not even an apology - just a typical canned answer: Thank you for your email. We appreciate all comments that might help us improve our business. Feel free to visit our store again next time you are in the area and someone will be able to help you purchase some delicious portobello mushrooms. (as if I'm going to drive all the way there and hope someone's there to wait on me)

I was referred to Whitecrest by a friend and I haven't been disappointed. Their portobellos are fantastic, even the seconds are great.
