We experienced extensive water damage from an ice dam on the roof. Promus arrived within 2 hours of the call to our insurer. They were thorough, polite, and always respectful of the fact that they were coming in to our home. Their counselling advice was helpful and reassuring, explaining every step of the procedure. Their workmanship was prompt and extremely professional. No one wants a damaged home but Promus made the very best of an unfortunate experience.
The care and concern they showed us during the restorations was exceptional! Every one of their people were amazing to work with and I can't stress enough how great a job they did. The end product was perfect!
Tony, our project manager, was very professional and helpful whenever we needed advice or had questions. Not being from the area, he was able to give us excellent contacts when we were looking for contractors. i.e.., tree cutting services, flooring, etc. The project work exceeded our expectations and done in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend Promus to anyone in the future.
Very disappointed in the Kawartha Lakes Branch. We opened a claim based on weather damage for our roof. Al @ Promus said it was maintenance and not damaged due to the wind/ice storm. He couldn’t see “any trees down around the property.” Guess why? They were already cut up and put into wood piles. Thankfully we were able to have our adjuster use a different company who did a thorough job of assessing and did not just pass it off to the next person. Always get a second opinion if you feel the first wasn’t properly done!
