My family stayed at the West Lake campground in the summer of 2020. Wendy and her team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us "green-horn campers" as we took on our adventure of a lifetime, spending all of 7 weeks at the campground. During that time we had absolutely no issues! The kids loved the open space and while we were close enough to town to easily get supplies, we were far enough away to be immersed into nature. Wendy and her team (her family, Ted and Linda) are simply awesome awesome.....awesome people. While the campground is their business, their love for people is evident and unrestrained. I would give West Lake 7 stars if I I could, but I'll bow to google-pressure and stop at 5! :-) P.S. Other persons have mentioned how Wendy helped guide them as they parked their RV. Well when we got there with our 30-footer, Ted read me like a book and very politely offered to park the RV for me. I'll tell you, the relief that came over me in that moment is hard to describe in words. My wife was with me, so I was NOT about to ask for help....but were it not for Ted, the evening would not have ended well.....I'm sure. Lol! (I continue to salute you Ted!! :-))

As always, we had another amazing stay at West Lake Campground 20 minutes East of Prince George, BC - The hospitality shown by Wendy and her family was amazing!!! Wendy even helped us guide our trailer in for maximum shade from the trees in the evening. The sites are so nice, level, and spacious! Bonus is that if you cook too much her kids love the extras. Also, if you have dogs check out @thefloofco for some cool handmade bandanas and scrunchies by Wendy's daughter, Madison...so awesome!!! Our site had water/sewer and we were able to pick up cell coverage...there is wifi at the office. Next year we hope to return and she is planning to have electrical and wifi available thru the main portion of the campground - yay! Oh...the lake is a quick jaunt down West Lake Rd and it is so pretty there is also an amazing dog beach with picnic tables to take your fluff's to...which we all enjoyed! There is firewood available at the campground along with a small store for misc odds and ends...ice cream bars being one We stayed for a week and it was so nice, peaceful, and just flat out relaxing!!! This is by far the nicest campground we have ever stayed at, the attendant was so helpful and we even witnessed her helping people park their rv. And finding extra blocking for them. The grounds are exceptionally quiet and relaxing. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back.

We just got back from our 2 weeks vacation, and it was the most relaxing and enjoyable camping trip that we had. The staff at Westlake are the most freindliest that I have ever met. Our boxer Kane looked forward to his daily walks so that he could get his greetings and pets from Wendy. The campground itself is very well kept. We will definately be returning. 2 thumbs up from our family . Thanks again Wendy and staff for a very enjoyable stay.

Clean, quiet, a little traffic noise during the day but peaceful in the evenings. The owner and Hostess do everything in their power to accommodate your needs while going above and beyond. Great place for kids and bike rides.
