The Edward skyward cabin is downright magical! We stayed two nights at the Skyward cabin to celebrate our first anniversary. The cabin is off grid, has no running water (apart from a gas powered shower), and provides some solar powered electricity (enough to charge small electronics like phones, headphones, Bluetooth speakers). Our cell phone signal was weak which was fine by us because we had wanted to unplug and reap the benefits of being surrounded by nature. We fell asleep to a sky full of stars with the sounds of the night and awoke to the howling of coyotes in the distance. So magical! . Payam and his wife (the owners) were attentive, warm and really welcoming. Such nice people! I’d recommend this experience to any novice camper who wants to get the experience of camping without the stress of having to pack a bunch of gear and make a fire. There’s a shower and a compostable toilet which makes it really luxurious for individuals like my husband and myself who have camping experience. We found this trip to be a relaxing, no fuss way to have some good time outside in a beautiful part of island. We’ll be back for sure.

My fiance and I stayed at the Edward for a 2 night getaway and we could not have asked for a better experience! The property was breathtaking, the house was beautiful and the staff were so nice and accommodating. We wanted to have a fire both nights and they quickly set up chairs, marshmallows and roasting sticks for us. We stayed in the new loft space, which was modern, clean and super cozy. We will definitely be coming back!
Absolutely stunning property! It was a blessing in disguise that due to covid-19, we had the whole house to ourselves and was able to enjoy it that much more....from the pretty blue kettle on the stove, hanging plants in the kitchen, spacious living area, to the super comfortable beds and fresh breakfast items, everything was perfect. I’m a big fan of hygge design and this place nails it! Our host Jess was great and made sure we had everything we need, even items for the baby including a playpen crib, baby tub, and high chair. They get extra points for being super family friendly! Would love to stay here again :)
Our stay at The Edward was nothing short of perfection. The scenery was beautiful, the room was comfortable, the food was delicious and the owner was friendly and attentive. We spent two nights here and we wish we could have spent longer. Eating breakfast in the morning with the sun streaming in while birds and butterflies flew around outside, and sitting on the back porch at night looking up at the clear stars were just two of the highlights from our stay. If you're looking for the perfect little city escape to Prince Edward County stay here for the perfect experience.
We've stayed at The Edward twice in the last 10 months and it is hard to believe that the second experience could have been even better than our incredible first experience. That the home is clean, beautiful and comfortable is second only to the warmth and welcoming nature of the hosts, Jess, Payam, Rebecca and Mano. You will eat, drink, relax and tour your way around Prince Edward County but you will not want to leave the charming 70 acres of The Edward once you arrive. If you are lucky enough to discover the absolute gem that is The Edward then you are in for one unrivalled and unforgettable stay. PS -- the breakfast and coffee is AMAZING and we CANNOT wait to come back.
