I used Precision Petrographics to make thin sections of extremely friable, delicate rock samples and was very impressed with the quality of the results. The turnaround time was also very quick! They clearly put in effort and care when filling your order. Great experience overall.

This is the first time I have dealt with Precision Petrographics and everything about the experience has been great. I requested some unique sample preparations which Dustin was willing to attempt and the results were spectacular. This is my new "go to" lab for polished sections.
Excellent service, high quality & quick turnaround. Very satisfied with my polished sections. Sent my samples from Scotland as most UK labs had slower turnarounds and were more expensive. Highly recommended and would happily use their services again in the future.
Great quality products, excellent communication, fair pricing. I had a bunch of polished thin sections made out of challenging rocks (crumbly, carbonate oxides silicates), was very satisfied with their quality (evenly thick, optimized area coverage, smooth surface, no pluck holes) - will order again!
I brought some massive sulphide nickel samples to Precision for cutting and polishing. Dustin did an absolutely amazing job with them. The end product was way beyond my expectations. 10/10 I will definitely bring my next order to Precision.

I've had a few old PTS samples polished up by Dustin and Sue and they did an amazing job - like night and day. I wouldn't hesitate to have samples made there in the future. The team at Precision is highly professional and extremely accommodating, they generously provided me with some invaluable advice/help on everything and PTS and microscopy. You can tell when a business is run with its heart in the right place, and Precision Petrographics is undoubtedly one.
