Prairie transmission was so wonderful to work with. As soon as I phoned the staff was very helpful and got me in for a free estimate the same day. The mechanic was quick and the guy in the office even helped me entertain my very busy kids. You can tell it's a family run business as they were kind and helped me get on my way as fast as possible. The cost was more affordable than previous quotes I received which made me very happy as well. I would recommend this business to anyone needing mechanic work! Thank you!

I brought my truck in to have the transmission fixed. Owner told me to pick it up in 2 days. Truck wasn't ready for a week. Picked up the truck and it ran terribly, had to bring it back in. This happened 3 times. Owner was very condescending and would not listen to anything we had to say. He kept insisting it was the motor- not their transmission. Finally a mechanic at the shop decided to research the issue on his own and discovered it was infact a transmission issue. They did fix it in the end, but the whole process took a month. I don't think we'll be returning.
