They are doing the covid vaccinations here. My experience was awesome. Didn't hurt a bit, staff and volunteers were very kind and courteous. Went in, registered at the front desk, where they found me in the list. Went to the next desk where my paperwork was filled out. I was immediately directed into the area where they were giving shots, had to wait 10-15 seconds and then I was sat down and given my shot. Went to the waiting room and waited the 15 minutes and left. Super easy. Thank you.

My experience here at the Powell River complex has always been a great one. They offer a fully equipped workout room that has been updated when needed. Hot tub and swimming pool is absolutely world class for small town. Steam room as well. Great staff n friendly life guards make for a fun and relaxing experience to be shared by all. I ONLY WISH IS FOR IT TO REOPEN AND FIGURE OUT HOW TO STAY OPEN DURING THESE TROUBLING COVID-19 TIMES. IM SURE I SPEAK FOR A GREAT MANY OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE GROWN UP IN THIS TOWN LIKE MYSELF THAT WE DESPERATELY NEED THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE POWELL RIVER COMPLEX.

A inexpensive place to go for a swim ,hot tub and or sauna ,as well as get in a workout . There is also access to skating as well as many community programs as well as various different special events held here .There is a better than your average condition stand which offers up more than your average fare for this type of place ! Also I there is a skateboard park and mountain bike park and access to many trails ,including one to the beach !
