On the pricier side -- 60 for two platters, no drinks. Sadly no lemon potatoes served with our platters which is usually included in this type of dish. We felt that we received better value for our dollar at other Greek restaurants but understand this is considered \fine dining\ in Powell River and prices may reflect its longstanding reputation in the community.
Well established restaurant in Powell River. The decor is older but clean. Our server, Yvonne was very friendly and efficient. Homemade tzatziki and hummus set this meal apart. Chicken mezedakia platter #4 and lamb mezedakia were done to perfection: moist, tender and flavourful. The mushrooms were fresh not canned and sauteed in olive oil. Greek salad is freshly chopped, not mushy like some places. And the onions are not overwhelming (white onions) with a delicate homemade dressing. The only disappointment was that they serve french fries instead of those delicious lemony roasted potatoes. That would have gotten them a 5*.
