I absolutely LOVE Portofinos bread! I can say that I am obsessed! So delicious! My all time favourite is the peasant loaf! But unfortunately I've stopped buying it lately because the last 5-6 loaves I've bought more than half the slices had giant holes in them! I can work with the small holes but these suckers ain't no joke!

My partner and I stumbled onto the Portofino line of breads last fall and have bought nothing but since! This bread has some weight to it along with delicious flavors. Unlike “Wonder Bread”, the Portofino line is fresh, moist and tasty plus it does go moldy unlike the sterilized, preservative enhanced products out there. When you eat a sandwich made from Portofino bread you will find it tasty, satisfying and filling. We LOVE their entire line of breads and have even introduced family to it who are from the Fraser Valley. We assisted them in their search and now they are committed to this line as well. Just try it, you’ll really like it!
Every good bread, their have a farm bread program for your animals so it doesn't go to waste.
We absolutely love their bread, we always buy the multigrain loaf. That said, the bakery needs to stop bagging and sealing these while still moist as literally every second loaf we buy is moldy in the center by day 3. Not good for a 6 loaf of bread. This is the dozenth time this has happened now and we've attempted to speak with someone directly at Portofino by email and phone, but nobody seems to care enough to respond to our messages. Not great customer service there. If you want locals to support you, you need to do a better job of standing behind your products.
Absolutely delicious bread. The Vancouver Island Harvest Loaf is excellent. My only complaint is Portofino bread is considerably higher in calories compared with others; maybe because they use pure ingredients, but this is a waistline-buster if you excess on their product, which is easy to do.
