Great work is being done here. As a tourist, best to go in the 6 hours after dawn to see the banding research being done. Friendly informative volunteers on hand. They run on donations and purchases from the small gift shop. Not too big. Boots a good idea. They even have binoculars to borrow.

Great place to go with kids or a day trip with friends or you honey. Take the time and stop at the lookout along the way. This spot is a must stop here... great people and place to learn and see birds up close, along with the studies and protection of years to come. They all tie into each other- look outs and trails was something!
