We had a very nice experience stopping in for the night in one of the cabins. Staff was very pleasant to deal with during booking process and prior to our arrival. The cabin was very clean and cozy! It had all the things we needed to stay comfortable. We're a family of 3 with a large dog and we felt it was still a good size for us to maneuver. We will definitely come back to stay here.

My wife, my dog and I highly recommend staying at this clean, modern, welcoming resort! The small modern log cabins have 2 comfortable queen beds, TV, wifi, small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker with good quality coffee! Plus a infrared counter top cooker. Complete with plates, pots, etc..just bring your own salt, pepper and food! Two propane bbqs and charcoal bbqs also. Great location for a family function! We stayed 3 nights, slept great and explored the north island!

Stayed 8 nights on the site in our trailer, really helpful friendly staff. It’s clean & well kept. Close to everything & some fantastic hiking trails. Open all year long! Welcome your dogs. The site isn’t too big and is positioned right next to the estuary. We walked into Port Hardy, which strolling, takes about 30 mins! Great find will go back! Would highly recommend if your want a base to explore Northern Vancouver Island!

What a wonderful place and incredible hosts! We stopped by here on our honeymoon. The owners put a little gift for us in the cabin with a lovely card. A pleasant little place.

The cabins here completely blew away my expectations. Not that I expected anything wrong, but they were definitely above and beyond. Such a cozy little place to spend the night. Clean, cozy, and situated in a beautiful little campground right off the highway. Couldn't have asked for more.

Close to downtown with a charming view. All amenities are spotless and ramp accessable. Wifi is very fast ; but I had to set up a repeater outside to get a usable signal inside the taj-mahal. Seems quiet at night but I sleep like a rock. There is covered fire pit and lovely paths out to the bay.

Absolutely horribly appalling experience. Will not recommend or ever consider staying there. Pulled in at 830pm on Wednesday night, to one of the only camping / rv / cabin sites in Port Hardy after reading reviews of how wonderful the hosts and site was. Office looked closed, very dim lights on. No gate on property. No sign saying Reservations only, and a large red vacancy sign at the entrance. Drove thru once and saw ample sites available with no reserved signs on any. Pulled into a spot, barely finished parking, with full intentions of walking over to the office to see if anyone was there to pay for overnight stay. Before we even had the van turned off, host approached, not only telling us to leave immediately, but also threatening to call the RCMP telling us we are trespassing, accusing us of trying to sneak onto the property. We were in the first campsite across from the office, and there is no sneaking anywhere with the sound of our loud old van motor. With wallet in hand, we were not even given the chance and told to leave. How do you treat people like this when you run a campground. IF we did anything wrong, it was that we did not stop immediately at the office, trying to be courteous to the cabins and home due to how loud our vehicle is. Needless to say, we left with our jaws dropped. Absolutely disgusted at how rude and unwelcoming this experience was.

Very good camp and RV stop with town around the corner and Eagkes close by.
