The Fishermen's Memorial, at the entrance to the pier, in Port Dover, Ontario is dedicated to all the commercial fishermen who have lost their lives on the lake, in performance of their duties. More specifically, it is in memory of the three fishermen aboard the Captain K fishing tug, who lost their lives when it was in collision with the Canadian Coast Guard Icebreaker Griffon, in heavy fog off Long Point, March 1991.
