Exceptional. If I could rate this gem a 10, I would. What a treat. It felt as if you we were transported to old english times from the perspective of the beautiful gardens, gazebo, magical touches, and the breakfast (oh, the breakfast!!). The Innkeeper, Jane is the quintessential host - supreme. I've travelled all over the world and truly, you just need to look in your own backyard to be treated so well. Thank you for creating the magic, Jane. We so look forward to visiting you again.

Quaint, very clean and we really enjoyed the pergola. Location was very convenient to walking to dinner in town, and other areas of town.
We loved our stay at dover house b&b.It is a very beautiful home. The rooms are so clean and tidy and nothing is out of place. We would like to thank jane our host for the night for putting up with us and making us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. Hoping we can come back again in october. Very clean, friendly, quite, accommodating and peaceful atmosphere here. Enjoy every minute breakfast was amazing as well.
I do NOT recommend this place at all. This was supposed to be my first bed and breakfast experience. We arrived in the city around 2 pm, all tired and my 2 kids (2.5 years and 8 years) could not wait to check in and have a rest. I decided to call the owner Jane and inquire about early check in. She said 3 pm is the earliest. We stayed around 50 mins in town and arrived at Bed and Breakfast location around 2:50, and I entered the building and let her know that we are here and ready to check in when she is ready. What Jane said "You are early, you and I have had this conversation numerous times that I cannot have you checked in earlier than 3 pm, I was busy since morning, just myself and my housekeeper had a lot to do, many guests to feed, I also had to visit my mom……."Overall very negative tone conversation, to me it was very upsetting. I left the building and decided to stay close to my car till she gets ready. I was talking to my wife, suddenly Jane arrived and in a very aggressive tone she said "…. I cannot TRUST you following the protocols….. And I am happy to return your money and cancel your booking……". I was shocked with this conversation, I am confident that as a professional healthcare worker I know all the safety protocols very well. I was so upset knowing the fact that I had to find a new place and my kids were tired and hungry, and my wife and I were so looking forward to this vacation after many months of working during COVID as a healthcare professional. We ended up finding a place after 3 hours, so tired, upset and exhausted. As a summary, I do not recommend this place to anyone, I cannot comment about the rooms as we did not check in, but the entrance and living rooms were not acceptable to me. The patio looked OK. Anyway I am happy that we did not stay there. My final message: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. My experience was awful.

My wife and I spent two nights last week and had the most wonderful time. Jane and staff were very inviting and made us feel like royalty. Our queen room was perfect, clean comfortable and nicely appointed. Breakfast was 9/10. Janes updated pergola was a nice retreat , very relaxing with a serene atmosphere. First time visitor to the area and will definitely return next year. Thanks Jane for pointing us to the local wineries and local eateries. Cheers Terry and Jackie
Lovely bed and breakfast! we stayed here on Saturday after our wedding the hostess couldn’t have nicer. the breakfast was fantastic and she was very friendly and excited for our marriage and wedding! she was highly engaged asking questions and seemed so excited for us also she was very accommodating. as we showed up at 11 pm but she left us a Lovey note on the door explaining where our room was. I highly recommend a visit when you’re looking for a place in Dover to stay
