We are very happy with our overall experience. We live in a townhouse and have had some negative experiences with companies not “caring” about our small business. Closets by design treated us like any other big customer :). Customer service was great- they followed up and were friendly. They called days before and let us know that the installers would be there between 8-10 and would call on their way. They showed up at 8am and hadn’t called until after they arrived (she apologized on the phone though which was appreciated). Installation was quick and clean. I love my new organized closet!!

Moved in to a new townhome at the end of November. Knew we wanted a better pantry and a double wide reach in master closet solution. Designer came out and measured; drew something up manually that we liked. We visited the showroom to pick a finish; hardware, tweak the design a bit with further ideas and measurements and pay our 50% deposit. Two months lead time to build over the holidays; our early February install date was met. Scheduled for two days but the install guys were done in \u003c6 hours on day one. Clean; quick; courteous. We had ordered all brushed nickel hardware; chrome rod holders were used though; within a week they had dropped off the replacement rod holders after getting them back in stock. Had used CA Closets last time around for our Master Walk-In in our old condo. Found CBD to be of similar quality and less expensive. Very happy with the results.

The quality and Installation was amazing. We liked Igor and his attention to the details during installation. However, our designer (after spending 6 hours of our time designing with her) did not capture that we wanted soft close doors, we were surprised. So please make sure to get a copy of your contract so that you are getting what you asked for. Don't just go on lip service of your designer. The owners spoke to us as if we wanted soft close doors for free, after spending 8000. Not very happy with the way they handled it.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly. They booked my design and install quickly which was great. The price was around what I would expect for shelving units and install. The negative part was the design included a large shelving unit that blocked 20 inches of another 30 inch wide unit. You would have to reach in to put items in and out of the unit. While I have to take responsibility for signing off on the design, the fact that one unit was obscuring part of another wasn't really clear to me from the paper drawings. But, Closets by Design were very accommodating and worked to rectify the situation to my satisfaction. And, I really appreciate that about a company. They worked with me to make sure I was happy with their product and service. Not all companies would do that.
