Pretty good museum, especially if you want to know more about Canada, and Quebec in particular. We wanted to go for the old prison tour but the slots were already filled (we reached in the second half of the day) and the guided tour was in French only. The exhibits are interesting. Besides the pop culture, a part of the museum also covers the history and the evolution of the criminal justice system of Quebec. There are small tablets/TVs in between with interviews of some people who throw some insights on how things worked and how it affected common people, which is interesting to know. There are some interactive sections as well but not all of them were working, partly due to COVID I suppose. There's pretty huge parking right before the museum if you're coming from Rue Laviolette. It charges like 8 cents a minute with a maximum of 9, which is easily reached.

Great place to go with kids of all ages. Lots of interactive stations and games integrated into the exposition. Don't miss out on the old jail visit, it's chilling and fascinating at the same time.
It's a touristic place of Tois Rivière. The tourist guide was excellent. You can see and feel the horrible life the prisoners had.
They dont know how to speak english very un educated
We took a tour of the old Trois-Rivieres prison. The tour cost 15 pp and lasted and hour. The guide was very thorough and informative.
The old prison visit is a MUST! The guide was extremely knowlegeable and really made our visit super interesting! I learned a lot about Quebec and Trois-Rivière's history!
Worth the money, interesting exhibitions, not crowded, restaurants and pubs in the vicinity.
Pretty boring exhibits the tour of the prison was a waste of an hour. Bring your kids here as a punishment for not doing homework
